Summary

Add a none option to the image asset animation controls in the alert editor.

Problem

Some image assets may already be animated, such as animated GIFs, APNGs, WebP animations, or future video-like image assets. Right now, image assets appear to require an animation selection from the editor's animation options. If the source image is already animated, applying an additional entrance/loop/effect animation can interfere with the intended playback or visual timing.

Desired behavior

Image assets should support a none animation option so the asset can render exactly as provided without any editor-applied animation layer.

When none is selected:

  • The image asset should still render normally in the editor canvas.
  • The image asset should still render normally during test alerts.
  • The image asset should still render normally in the browser source.
  • No editor-defined CSS animation, transform animation, transition sequence, or timing effect should be applied to that image asset.
  • The underlying image should be allowed to animate on its own if the file format supports animation.

Acceptance criteria

  • The image animation dropdown/control includes a none option.
  • none can be saved as the image asset's animation setting.
  • Loading an alert/layout with none preserves that setting.
  • Test alerts render the image without any editor-applied animation when none is selected.
  • Browser-source playback renders the image without any editor-applied animation when none is selected.
  • Existing image animation options continue to work as before.
  • Existing saved alerts do not break if they do not have an explicit animation value.

Implementation notes

This should likely be treated as a valid animation mode/value rather than as an unset or missing value. That avoids confusing none with default behavior and makes it clear that the user intentionally disabled editor-applied animation for that asset.
